Landlords impart the worst housing crisis in decades is now not their fault. And they’re unwell of being forged because the “slumlord,” “parasite,” “heinous boys”.
Years of authorities tax adjustments and more challenging law, paired with soaring mortgage charges and unusual condo reform, has many historical landlords asserting it be now not worth being a landlord anymore and warning of a “mass exodus” from the market.
And consultants dispute that can presumably be heinous news for renters.
But whereas those who’ve been in the business for years threaten to pass away, an entire unusual generation of landlords are coming onto the market – and they’re doing it via TikTok.
Rebranding themselves as ‘property patrons’, these #PropertyTok landlords are instructing their social media followers how to aquire and rent out property to tenants – and catch rich in the task. So will these influencer landlords put renters?
